Transition from primary to secondary school is a dynamic process of continuity and change as children move into their first year of school. The process of transition occurs over time, beginning well before children start school and extending to the point where children and families feel a sense of belonging at school.
We believe that every child deserves the best start in life, that no child is left behind and we aim to build meaningful partnerships between home and school.
Excellence in Teaching & Learning Programme
The Teaching and Learning Programme is facilitated by an experienced school leader and who is also an experienced Specialist Leader of Education (SLE). It is designed for all school staff who want to improve and develop their own teaching practice by reflecting on existing strategies that are working well and building on what could be even better. It provides opportunities to deepen understanding of high quality classroom practice and teaching and learning.
By attending this programme you will gain expert support for change and help to make a lasting difference to teaching and learning.
